Why is shipping to countries outside the USA so expensive? In some countries it's $15 and the product is only $15 at the Early Bird level. That's crazy!
I hear you. Unfortunately, shipping just is that expensive. The ScooperDuper™ product weighs 6 oz. and when I go to the US Postal Service website (usps.com) and look up the price for shipping a 6 oz package from the USA to Sweden, for example, it tells me it’s $14.25. Kickstarter only allows whole dollar pledges, so to not lose money on shipping, I have to round up to the nearest dollar, which is $15, for some countries. I’m so sorry but unfortunately I can’t make the shipping prices any lower. I would if I could! Thank you for understanding and I’m sorry if this means that you won’t be able to back the project. I appreciate your excitement about it and I’m sorry that non-USA shipping is so high.

How did you calculate the shipping prices for rewards shipped within the USA?
I went to the US Postal Service website (usps.com) and used their postage calculator. The ScooperDuper™ weighs 6 oz., so I used the ZIP code that I will be shipping from in California, which is 94966, and then used a ZIP code far away from me, for example, one in Georgia is 30002.
The prices for the various weights are:
6 oz (1 scooper) = $4.81 12 oz (2 scoopers) = $5.66 1 lb 2 oz (3 scoopers) = $12.98 1 lb 8 oz (4 scoopers) = $12.98 1 lb 14 oz (5 scoopers) = $12.98
It jumps up quite a bit after the weight gets over 1 pound. I’m not sure why that happens. You could ask the US Postal Office. They would know better than I would. I just used their postage calculator and charged what I needed to in order to not lose money. (Kickstarter only allows whole dollar pledges so I rounded up to the nearest whole dollar amount.) I hope that helps.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
